Sherwood River Camp
Over ran by wasps. Paid to stay in what we thought was going to be the main camp ground. Only to turn up and it was full. We and others had to stay in the overflow paddock amongst all the cow poo, as they had not long herded them out. The bridge into the main camp ground is in desperate need of repair. Its a beautiful spot but you don't get what you pay for.

Sherwood River Camp
We stayed for the March long weekend. It’s a great spot by the river with MTB tracks very close by. Very busy, luckily the hosts opened the overflow paddock which we stayed in. The main paddock was totally full, crammed closer than at a caravan park. The overflow paddock had more space but not that many flat spots. Was pretty noisy, but usually quiet by 11pm. I’d stay again, but during a quieter period.

There were a lot of vans the long weekend and we were in the overflow paddock but here was plenty of space. A very relaxing weekend. European wasps were a plenty but not too troublesome. Other than having to mind our step due to the cow pats we had no issues.

Sherwood River Camp
What a spot, flat and right on the river and if needed an overflow area (paddock) available. Definitely will return.

Sherwood River Camp
Such a great spot. Amount of wasps was annoying but can’t be helped! We will be back!
Sherwood River Camp
Great place on the river, I do think the amount of campers should be limited though.
